Where the kids meet up to discuss ideas

Our Kids Forum at Drumahoe Primary School is a committee of fourteen children from Key Stage One and Two, elected by their peers.

These elected members chair meetings with their own classmates where a wide range of relevant issues are discussed. Some of these issues  need to be discussed in more depth, so the class representatives bring these to the Kids Forum meetings.

Issues that have been discussed include

• fundraising for charity

• ways to promote healthy break

• how to improve playground facilities 

• suggestions for after school clubs

• ideas for house competitions
