The pupils were given a task to build a land yacht. Certain materials were given to the pupils and they had to make their yacht. It was to be powered by wind. The pupils researched the shape of sails and they then constructed their sail to catch the wind. Some chose to use one sail while others chose more. The shapes varied. Once our land yachts were complete we had the chance to test them out in the assembly hall. Great learning through STEM and it was FUN!
