Drumahoe Primary School is absolutely thrilled to be awarded their first ever 'Eco-Schools Green Flag'. This award was presented to our fabulous Eco-Committee and our Eco-Coordinator Miss Thompson this morning in assembly, who have worked extremely hard since the beginning of this school year in raising environmental awareness to our pupils and working together to reduce waste and save energy throughout school. Some of the activities that our Eco Committee have been involved in are: Litter Picking, Wear Green Be Green, Sustrans Big Walk, RSPB Big Bird Watch, Light Monitors, Wheelie Big Challenge and Salmon Ambassadors. It is wonderful that the hard work and commitment from our Eco Committee have been recognised and we are so proud of not only our Eco Committee but the whole entire school for coming together and supporting the work that our Eco Team does on a daily basis. #EcoSchoolsNI #EcoCommittee #DrumahoeEcoTeam #GreenFlagAward #KeepNorthernIrelandBeautiful
