P6T had such a fun numeracy lesson today on place value. They used lego to create a sea creature and then they had to give it a name. Once they had decided on their name, each letter of the alphabet represented a number e.g. A=1, B=2, C=3. They had to write down what the value of their sea creature would be and share it with the class. A great way to partition their number!
